Welcome!
Haney's Westies is currently located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We have been breeding for over 12 years. We sell for pets only, and not to breed. We sell only with a limited registration. Raising Westies is a hobby that we are passionate about. Our Westies are raised on Iams and Eukanuba dog food. Parents are either from a championship bloodline of over 180+, or imported bloodlines. Our puppies are socialized by our children. We are interested in finding serious homes and are not affiliated with any pet stores or puppy mills.
About Westies
The West Highland White Terrier, commonly known as the “Westie”, is a Scottish breed of dog with a distinctive white coat. The breed is a small terrier, although with longer legs than other breeds of terriers. They have a white double coat which fills out the dog's face, giving it a rounded appearance. This breed is good with children, but will not tolerate rough handling. Westies are an active breed, but social with prey drive. Their life span is usually from 12-16 years, and they normally weigh between 15-20 pounds. Westies are used as the mascot of Caesar dog food. Westies have bright, deep set, almond shaped eyes that are dark in color. Their ears are pointed and erect. They also have a soft, dense, thick under coat and a rough outer coat. They are not barkers, but will announce a visitor. They are social, outgoing, friendly, and inquisitive by nature. Westies make wonderful pets. They are quick learners and loyal for both young and older adults.
